Relive the days of old, when daring Aviators coaxed their fragile craft into the air to experience the thrill of early flight. Our Taube (German for dove) captures all the excitement of this early era with its slow and graceful flight. Incredibly stable, the Taube features a semi-symmetrical airfoil and very light wing loading so its slow speed flight characteristics are outstanding.
Unlike most other World War I models, our Taube is very easy to build. So, if you like the flavor of a World War I Acro plane, but were put off by the complexity of building one, the Taube is for you! Balsa USA's kit is very complete and a tremendous value. Our comprehensive photo illustrated instruction booklet (over 70 photos) leads you through each step of the construction. Precision jig-cut and 18 different sheets of die-cut parts greatly simplify and speed up building time. The hardware package is complete with every nut, bolt, screw, hinge, and control horn you will need to complete the model. The landing gear is pre-bent and even the landing gear blocks are cut to size.
If you are looking for an easy to build kit that will really turn some heads at the flying field, you can't go wrong with the Taube!
